Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training (NJROTC) is a citizenship program offered
at Bloomington High School that teaches life skills and prepares young boys and
girls to become future leaders. You will grow as an individual both mentally and
physically while developing lifelong friendships. It is an opportunity to acquire
strong leadership skills that will benefit you throughout your life well beyond
graduation. These are the same skills that will make you a better student and get
the most from your high school experience. NJROTC is offered all four years and
continues through to graduation. The benefits of NJROTC at Bloomington High
School are significant. High school students who join NJROTC receive P.E credits,
looks favorable on college applications, and if your option is to join the military
