Dual Immersion
The Dual Immersion Language program enhances 21st century skills such as: creativity, cultural awareness, problem solving, innovation, civic engagement, communication and productivity. It integrates native English speakers and native speakers of another language (Spanish). Instruction is provided to both groups of students in both languages.

Common Sense, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in a world of media and technology, has recognized Colton Joint Unified School District as a Common Sense District.

Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP)

Important Dates
May 20th: Cap and Gown Distribution during both lunches
May 20th: Senior Sunset at 6:00pm on the Football Field
May 21st: Grad Nite at Disneyland [Check in at 7am at the Hubbs Gym and come back at 4am the next morning to the Hubbs Gym Parking Lot]
May 24th: Senior Breakfast at the MPR from 8:00am - 10:00am
May 24th: Senior Walks at Former Elementary and Middle Schools approx 10:00am - 12:30pm
May 24th: Senior Awards Night (by invite only with two guest tickets) from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the MPR
May 25th: Graduation Practice in the Hubbs Gym / Field at 8:30am - 11:00am
May 26th: Graduation Day!!!! Commencement Ceremony at 7pm and tickets are required. Senior Check in time at Hubbs Gym is 5:30pm
IMPORTANT:
Senior Walks: Sign up Form: Please fill out this form by Wednesday May 11th if you are interested in joining us as we visit our future Yellowjackets at CJUSD Elementary schools. You will be asked to wear your cap and gown during the visit. Students who sign up will be provided a permission slip by Friday May 13th and students must return the completed permission slip to Mrs. Buskirk in room 201 by Wednesday May 18th. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Buskirk and enjoy your day.
