Superintendent's Message: CJUSD Success Today and Tomorrow
There has never been a more exciting time to be a part of the Colton Joint Unified School District.
We began several years ago on a journey to build a strong foundation in how we do things, a Professional Learning Framework to help us continue the ongoing work of improving how we serve our students and function as professionals and as educators.

At the Colton Joint Unified School District, we are taking a bold step forward to define exactly what our students must know, do, and become to thrive in tomorrow's world. Through Vision 2030, we are collaborating with our entire educational community to build the CJUSD Learner Profile and a dynamic new Learning Model. This strategic work establishes a shared destination for student success and ensures that our daily classroom experiences are intentionally designed to foster core academic competencies, contemporary skills, and strong habits of learning.
To truly bring this ambitious instructional vision to life, our physical learning environments must evolve alongside our educational programs. We are introducing a comprehensive facilities initiative aligned with our Vision 2030 goals. Through a thoughtful, structured process, we are reimagining our district's footprint, redesigning current sites, purposefully repurposing others, and designing state-of-the-art new facilities. These efforts will directly support our educational model, ensuring every student has a safe, intentional learning environment designed to help them succeed.
