Students eligible for TK with birthdate: September 2, 2018 - April 2, 2019

Students eligible for Kindergarten with birthdate: September 2, 2017 - September 1, 2018

In addition to your completed enrollment packet, the following documents are required at the time of your enrollment appointment and are listed in the enrollment packet:
- Parent/Legal Guardian government issued picture identification card.
- The student’s birth certificate or other verification of student’s proof of age
- The student’s immunization record (see enrollment packet for specific immunization requirements)
- Address verification (utility bill from gas, water, or electric dated within last 30 days).
Enrollment cannot be completed without ALL required documentation listed in the enrollment packet being presented at the time of your enrollment or if the Pre Enrollment process is not complete and required documents are not uploaded.

Transfer Requests & Open Transfer Window

Colton Joint Unified School District 2023-2024 School Year Open Intra and Inter-District Transfer Window - The window for accepting Intra- and Inter- District Transfers is January 17, 2023 - March 1, 2023.

For families that are interested in applying for an INTER or INTRA District Transfer, the first day to submit a Transfer Application is Friday, January 17, 2023 and the last day to submit a transfer is March 1, 2023. All information regarding transfers, transfer applications, and directions for submitting transfer requests can be found on our Transfers page.

For clarification purposes:

An Intra-District transfer is requesting a change from one school within CJUSD to another, by a parent that resides within the CJUSD boundaries.

An Incoming Inter-District transfer is requesting to change from the district of residence, where the parent resides, to a school within the CJUSD boundaries. The parent must go the their district of residence and complete the Inter District Transfer request with the district of residence and then the application will be mailed to CJUSD for review.
