Mr. Thomas Conner started counseling in 2001 at Compton Centennial High School. He has over 18 years of counseling experience. Mr. Conner has been working at CJUSD for 15 years. Mr. Conner started counseling for CJUSD in 2004 starting his career in the district in 2004 at Bloomington High School. Mr. Conner left Bloomington High School and opened up Grand Terrace High School in 2012 and coached football and baseball at the school. Mr. Conner has worked for the past five years at Slover Mountain High School and Washington Alternative High School for the past five years. Mr. Conner is a graduate of National University, San Diego State University and Southwestern College. Mr Conner holds a Master’s of Science degree in Educational Counseling, PPS credential, Administration credential, Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Associate’s of Art’s degree in General Education. Mr. Conner has been a part of the Senior Class committee, Chess Club, Boys and Girls Chat, Scholarship committee, Safety committee, Career and College committee and specializes in NCAA/NAIA clearinghouse for student athletes. Mr. Conner has been a varsity head football coach and has coached baseball, soccer, golf, track and field. Mr. Conner has been married to his wife Rachael of sixteen years and has two sons Brandon and Sean. Currently, Mr. Conner coaches football and Basketball at Grand Terrace High School. Mr. Conner takes pride and works hard in assisting his students with academic, career, post-secondary options and social/personal counseling.
