New Hire Eligibility

New Hire Health Benefit Elegibility

As a contracted employee, you must work 4 hours or more per day or a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Enrollment for Health Insurance

You have 30 days from your first working day to enroll for health benefits.
Your eligibility for Health Benefits is determined by your first working day. If your first working day is on or before the 15th of the month, your health benefits go into effect on the 1st of the following month.
If your first working day is on the 16th to the last day of the month, your health benefits go into effect the following month after the next month on the 1st.

Eligible Family Members

Your spouse or domestic partner
Your children, children legally adopted by you, stepchildren, children for whom you are the legal guardian, children you support because of a valid court order, and children of your domestic partner.
- The child must be under the age of 26; or
- Age 26 and older if your child is disabled.

Required Documentation

For each new dependent you add to your benefits, you must provide each enrolled family member's SSN and required documentation (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certification, adoption, etc.)
