Vision 2030: Explore Our Facilities Transformation

Mission Statement

The Vision 2030 Superintendent’s Advisory Committee will examine our CJUSD facilities with an eye toward aligning them with our needs going into the future. We will draw together a diverse group of participants to take a new look at how we can best leverage our facilities and resources to provide the best possible learning environments for our students and staff.

The primary objective of this committee is to analyze historic and projected enrollment trends in order to formulate actionable recommendations for the Board. These recommendations will focus on optimizing District facilities and resource allocation to sustain and enhance educational programs and opportunities for our students and community.

The proposed SAC roster reflects balanced representation across district leadership, bargaining units, and key community partners such as yourself, including:

  • District & School Leadership: District Administrators, School Principals, and departmental leadership.
  • Labor Partners: Designated leadership representatives from ACE and CSEA.
  • Community & Oversight Representation: Parents, Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) members, community-at-large representatives, and local agency delegates.

Parent and community engagement is essential to this endeavor's success.  This critical initiative will guide the District's direction for years to come.
