Substitute Teacher Employment Information

All applications for certificated substitute employment must now be submitted online at www.edjoin.org .

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's Degree, a 30-day Substitute Permit, or a teaching credential. In the event they do not hold a 30-day Substitute Permit, the district will assist with their application process with CTC. Copies of official transcripts must be submitted with the application. No unofficial or online transcripts (for student viewing only) are accepted. Official transcripts must be submitted at the time of hire.

Current rate of pay for a 30-day permit substitute teacher is $200.00 daily; the Credentialed substitute teacher rate of pay is $210.00 daily. No benefits are available for on-call, as-needed positions.
