Pen, Pencil & Brush

Pen, Pencil, and Brush is an annual event that celebrates our students' talent and skills in Art and Writing. The District Pen, Pencil & Brush competition features student work in a variety of categories of Art and Writing. Guidelines and criteria for the competition are sent to schools in the fall. Students from Transitional Kindergarten - 12^th grade are eligible to participate in the Art category and students in Kindergarten - 12^th grade may submit entries for the Writing category. Each school site holds its own competition. Once complete, schools submit their winning entries for the district wide competition. The awards are handed out to the students at a ceremony in Spring.
