The top 21 Juniors were honored at today's Honor Guard Luncheon, hosted by the Counseling Department.  The students ate lunch with the previous honor guard while hearing inspirational messages from the Principal and graduating seniors.

20 GTHS students attended the Black Expo at Valley College.  They learned about how to make a positive impact on their communities and how to persevere against challenges.

College Week, hosted by the Counseling Department, included over 30 presentations by colleges, universities, and military.  During lunchtime at the end of the week there was a college fair.  Students were able to attend multiple presentations, attend application workshops, and participate in mock interviews.  This week was a success.

During lunchtime, all the counselors were out in the quad to answer any counseling related questions and to teach students about what services they offer.

The Counseling Department took 30 GTHS students to San Bernardino Valley College for their STEMapalooza event.  Students attended lectures, participated in hands on activities, and learned a lot about careers in the STEM field.
