Benefit Information
Employees working four hours or more daily are eligible for family medical and dental benefits on a pro-rated basis; these employees will also pay into CalPERS and Social Security.
Employees working less than four hours per day pay into an Alternative Retirement System (ARS): APPLE.
Seven hour positions (Classified and Management) receive a $25,000 life insurance policy provided by the District.

You can obtain services from any ASH Plans Participation Chiropractor without a referral from your primary care physician. Simply call a participating practitioner to schedule an initial exam. At the time of your first visit present your medical plan identification card and only pay your co-payment.
